My mentors gave me a Sanskrit name, Śrī. It means divine light, beauty, and wealth. I’ll take it! You can call me what you are comfortable with as I honor both given names equally.

I am an E-RYT 200/RYT 500 yoga teacher and an alumna of NYU.

My certifications and experience allow me to tailor a yoga practice to suit an individual's needs, as well as teach multi-level students simultaneously.

My teaching integrates breathing practices, chanting, mantra, singing bowl and poetry.

I wish to inspire others to develop an evolving practice to support the body through all phases of life.

Yoga is all-inclusive, adaptive, and accessible to all.

Healing is communication; and music, in its Universal nature, is total communication. In the deepest mysteries of music are the inspirations, the pathways, and the healing which leads to oneness and unity.

In my own practice, I play the Dholak, an ancient Indian 2-sided drum, singing bowls and integrate chanting.

Testimonial:

“The time over the past year spent with Śrī as my yoga teacher, healer and friend has changed my life. Although I’ve done some form of yoga over the past 30 years, it wasn’t until Śrī was placed in my life as my yoga mentor, did the three principles of mind, body and spirit work in unison for me - forming one of the most important parts of my self-care. Her instruction, choice of readings, and innate intuition have brought me to an understanding that has created one of the pillars of balance in my life, after surviving two plagues. In one word, I’ll sum up my experience with Stephanie’s teaching- transformative. “
